I have awful steering and suspension

id rather have a hard tire and get 60K miles out of them...

Your choice if course, handling and traction are of most importance to me--IMHO one might as well drive a Corolla as put 60,000 mile tires on a Mustang...

Springs don't often squeak, although you do need to replace them. You probably need new Ball Joints and new shocks too.

don't under estimate the importance of a good set of tires! They affect every characteristic of the car.

In addition to what has already been said, I suspect that most, if not all, the rubber bushings of control arms are pretty worn and will certainly contribute to the symptom you describe. I can recommend you pepe my Official Suspension Guide for some info on ways to address handling if you are looking for beyond-OEM performance of your ride

mine had 112k when i replaced them, its unbelievable the difference in lowering springs

I bet you have all kinda of bushings, ball joints, etc. that need placement with that age and milage. My car with only 38k had a little bit of a "darting" feel. I think these cars are a little unstable from the factory settings and leave a lot of areas of improvement to get the handling a lot of people expect from a sports car.

even after an alignment there is to much play in my steering.
