30mm I believe...

Also FWIW, and I realise "sway" bar commonly used, nonetheless it's really a stabiliser (that's what Ford calls it) or "anti-roll" or "roll" bar. Swaying is a back and forth motion about fixed end point, like a tall building "swaying" in the wind, or a clock pendulum.

Roll is rotary motion about a central pivot point, which is much closer to what the stabiliser bars on a car are intended to control.

The factory bar is solid right? don't most after market go to a hallow tube and bigger outer diameter?

Some do, however the qualities of the steel (and more specifically the torsion characteristics of the bar as a whole) are much more important than the OD/ID and/or whether or not it's made of solid or tube--unfortunately those are also the qualities that are more often than not made available...

It seems that the hallow tube allot of times is not very much more
"stiff" the factory. I had done the math on it when i was redoing the suspension in the spring. I believe the hallow tubes shave a few pounds off for about the same handling characteristics. I determined that for my desired spring rate in the front 600in/lb and the fact that it was drop roughly 1" i wouldn't need it to be any more ridged and wasn't going to spend the money for shave a few pounds for an after market bar. So still using factory front and back. The car has almost no body roll under any driving condition. I really think i have found a really good set up.
