actually the guy that made 355rwhp through an AUTO ( if it really matters in our modern-age) on a stock 01 cobra short block and like generic stage 2 cams ( CMS i think)

to the guy that said port the TF heads, that would probably decrease overal power and wouldnt even help the peak numbers by much.

if ya wanna keep a low budget, flycut a set of 4v pistons and get custom ground cams with the "stock" TF heads and a edelbrock intake and i would almost promise 350-360rwhp

lol hate to argue but the ones I've seen were stage 2. Is it really that hard to believe? If you can have a cam + bolt ons = 300ish and when you add ported pi heads (220ish cfm) you get what from a traditional h/c 2v? 320rwhp? Usually less isn't it? Then you take a set of tfs heads that are 240cfm and depending on the head size you choose you can either raise or lower the c/r. I think between adding 20cfm and uping the c/r, 340-350 sounds about right. But I wouldn't invest in a set of tfs heads unless your going for big boost to put down some big #s.

the only reason that car put down 355rwhp is because it had a 12:1 Compression and plus it could spin wayyyy higher than our stock 2v shortblock can..which is how these cars make power (RPMS)

lol, blower and cams? im not making a race car out of mine, just something that has a good feel all around, maybe some 373s with the h/c setup. Realistically I would be looking for 330-350 out of a h/c setup, and 380-420 with a blower. Not hard numbers either way.

^^beleive me when you put those heads and cams in you'll want more. I would go with the best bang for the buck. My setup cost me 2100 bucks (including Intercooler & Power Pipe). With the mods I had on my car (before the S/C) I paid about the same thing and gained, what 20-25 RWHP. Not telling you what to do but I wished I had listen to some of these guys 2 yrs ago.

heres the vid that got me thinkin.
