I'm hooking up my AFR gauge now and got stuck lookin for my 02 sensor. I checked my Haynes repair manual and it doesn't have it in there...any one have a picture for me?

They screw into your mid-pipe FYI (forwad and aft); at least on mine they do.

I know about that one. Is that the one I tie into in order to get my AFR gauge working? I figured there was one on an exhaust manifold or near there...there's gotta be another one closer than on my midpipe.

Maybe I was wrong about this. But alls I need to find is the sensor so that I can hook this AFR gauge up. Someone gimme a hand here fellas.

O2 sensors are only on the midpipe, and specifically the ones(s) to use are upstream of the cats.

You want to tap into the O2 signal wire on the computer in your passenger side kick panel. What year is it?

1999...im havin a little troulbe finding the right spot to put the afr wire.

i checked the o2 sensors on the midpipe, but didnt think that was the right place.

Where do I put it at in the kick panel?

You don't tap into the O2 sensor on the sensor itself. You pull the ECU in the kick panel and tap into the signal wire there. Let me see if I can find what color wire it is. I have done an '01 and an'02, let me check for a '99.

Hmm, I have an 01' , Im getting my a/f + trans temp gauge & trans cooler installed this weekend. I have the purple wire coming from the gauge down near the kick panel. If you could tell me what wire it is, I can do it myself and knock the install price down this weekend. I thought you had to wire it to the O2 sensor [:@]
