Default Heater Hose/IM Problem

I need help from anyone and everyone who can. My heater hose broke off last night, from the plastic nipple/adapterthat connects it to the IM. I'm assuming the only way to fix this is to get a new manifold with a new plastic adapter attached to it. Does anyone know of anything else I can do, or where I can get a new one for a decent price? Any help is super appreciated as right now I can't get to work anymore. Thanks guys.

My same hose blew on the highway last night and i made it to a auto parts store and the replacement hoses dont use the plastic clip crap. Just a rubber hose and you use regular hose clamps. Was $10.

You gotta be more specific. Did the hose itself break or did the actual nipple break off from the intake manifold. If its the hose, then you can easily replace it, but if the nipple came outta the intake, you need a new intake...

The nipple broke off. I was hoping someone had some sort of quick fix for this without getting a new mani.

What will I need/should I replace while replacing the manifold? Besides gasket.

Would be a good idea to change the fuel injector o rings, 2 for each injector.

Mine broke today about 3/4's of an inch down from the top.

Has anyone tried to do what i did?

I just shaved down the strongbacks on the lower(and heavier) part of the hose bib and pushed the same heater hose about 3/4" down over it. I got a good hydraulic clamp and fastened it on. i've driven it for a couple of hours now and no leaks.

Anybody tried it?
