Thanks to all of you, your advice help me a ton if it wernt for you guys i would of still been trying to get the tranny out tonigh. So i just figured i would post some pics of how far i got. I have the clutch in to but forgot to take pics so ill post those later. By the way the clutch was perfectly fine the cable broke which is wierd but i guess every time i adjusted it, it put more strain on it till it broke. So i just decided since i was already that far into it i would just replace the clutch to. And if anyone is wanting to swap there clutch im more than happy to give some advice.

eh...even if the clutch looked ok its still never a bad idea to replace everything while you are that deep into the tranny. you'd hate to have to break into it in another couple months because a bearing went out or something. plus the centerforce is an amazing clutch, you wont even care about a few extra bucks once you start driving on that clutch. these cars should come with it from the factory as far as i'm concerned.

that almost looks like it sucked to drop the tranny just being up on cinder blocks. almost looks like there isnt even enough room to get it out?

Your welcome I'm glad I could help you.
I know you will love your Centerforce Dual Friction clutch.
The Centerforce Dual Friction clutch is the best clutch I ever used and
the Spec Stage 2 clutch is the worst clutch I ever used.
You mite as well replace everything you can since everything is apart.
That looks like a tough squeeze working on your mustang with it
on cinder blocks be careful and take your time man.

Glad we can help, and the thank you shows that you are a classy guy. I'm sure you will love the CF clutch. Now my next advice will even be better, please for the love of god invest in a set of jack stands. The thought of roughing that tranny back in on your back into a car thats sitting on cinder blocks is a very scary thought. Harbor freight is your friend right now.

lol the back axle is on jack stands just put the block there incase something would happen and the tranny fits out only when the tallest part is slid right behind the front tire it was a tight squeeze. And i replaced all the bearings and what ever the little half ball looking thing inside the bell houseing is, i replaced it to cause yeah i aint ever pullin this damn thing again. Oh yeah found out that the rear seal on the tranny had a small small leak so waiting on that seal then get to put it all back together.

No problem, man! This is why I use the this forum. Lots of knowledgeable people on here that have experience working on the same thing that I am. It's always nice having that extra advice, when you need it! Great job on doing it yourself, instead of having someone else do the work for you! Makes you feel like you know it's your car, not just 'a' car. Later!
