Electrical issues
So since I have an o/r x pipe on my car I had some mils on and the other day the service engine light came on so I figured they might of slipped out so I lifted the car fixed them then tried starting the car and it wouldn't start it would only click so I lifted the car again removed the mils and tried starting it again nothing. So I cleaned the battery terminals and it still wouldn't start te bell would ring for the open door with key in ignition and the light inside would also turn on but once I would try turning on the car everything would die. So I tried turning on the head lights with the key forward they were very dim then they turned off and then back on without me doing anything and they looked fine so I tried starting her once more..it worked so I figured maybe it's the battery so I let the car stay on so it could run for a few mins with the battery going when I left it on I also left the fog lights on and when I came back out to turn it off I saw smoke infront of the fog lights I went to check and the bulb was so hot it was melting a hole in the housing above the light. The car had been on 20 mins tops and I've left my car running for much longer and never had a problem so does anyone know what could of caused this also the battery light in the car randomly turns on and off but I've had the battery checked twice and both places said it was fine please help any info is greatly appreciated

when the battery light comes on it could be the battery, the alternator, the wiring tieing the 2 together, etc. for me on the no cats, i still had to turn off the codes with a diablosport predator to get the check engine code off. as for the smoke on the fog lights thats weird and i wouldnt know where to begin.
