i am switching from an automatic to a manual. can i just add the shifter boot to my stock shifter bezel? i have an IUP bezel, and don't really want to have to buy one with a boot. the IUP bezels get expensive just because of the silver trim. anyone have any pictures of the underneath so i can see how they attach?

they attach by soldering plastic tabs from the metal ring on the boot to the plastic bezel...i removed mine to paint the bezel and hot glued it on
