sorry theres really no secrets the one thing I would say is remember to dissasemble the shifter area(trim take the boot off and you may need to remvoed the shifter as well.) and when reinstalling fallow the procedures of alighning the clutch plate. and if the input shaft on the trans seems to not want to go in when reinstalling the clutch pull the trans back out and check it over to make sure everything is properly lined up and not binding it should just fall into place (dont pull it together with the bolts!!!!!!!!!cus if yo have to theres somthing wrong!!!)

starter has to come off and the top bolt can be a pain in the *** to get off. The trick is to take off the passenger front tire and use a couple long extensions thru the k-member and the top bolt is easy to get out.
Also the top bolts on the bell housing can be a pain in the *** if you take the trans crossmember off and tilt the engine and trans down and the bolts are easier to get at. I like to do them first

I suppose it's possible, as in most things are, however you have to remove the tranny mount and let the engine tilt anyway to get the transmission out. Here's the removal procedure from the shop manual...

I'm assuming you know you will need a new flywheel or get you're existing flywheel resurfaced.

have fun with that. The top starter bolt is a bitch.

how do you plan on doing this install? The Transmission is EXTREMELY heavy.... that is not exaggeration

oh yeah and cap off the end of the transmission when you drop the drive shaft so it doesnt spill your fluid everywhere.
