Default Vortech installed, but have IAT question

Ok, we got the S/C installed with a few hiccups along the way. I installed a 90MM Lightning MAF and apparently they do not come with IAT sensors. I of course did not know this. So I am supposed to get an IAT and install it somewhere along the discharge pipe. Can someone enlighten me on this please? Oh and here is a pic of the finished set up. I will get all the other pics up once I get these few little things worked out.

Looks nice man, you'll love it. And yea, you have to get an IAT sensor, drill a hole in your intake piping, and wire it up yourself.

Get a IAT sensor for a ford lightning at the dealer. I am not positive, but I am pretty sure you want it between the blower and the throttle body/plenum

This is what I used.

You might get one at the local parts store idk.
Might need to weld a 3/8npt bung on that thin intake tube. I used the edelbrock intake thats already tapped for it.

This is what I used http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ACT-I...Q5fAccessories

No welding involved just drill a hole. The 2 wires go to the 2 outside wires on the MAF sensor plug polarity doesn't matter.

So that rubber gromet holds it in place pretty good?

Even if the MAF had the IAT built in you wouldn't want to use it as its before the compressor. Ideally you want the IAT sensor as close to the valve as possible.

Very clean install by the way.
