Default Looking 4 a performance intake....need a good deal

Hey guys... I'm looking to buy a performance intake for my 03' GT, new or used for a REALLY REASONABLE price...lol.. somebody give me a deal please!! If you have a used one btw... I would obviously prefer that it has low mileage. Merry Christmas all...

Are you talking about a Cold Air Intake or an Intake Manifold?

If you are referring to a CAI, then the best value is the one that came with the car--I am turning 262/305 rwHP/tq with the stock CAI and a Purolator paper filter.

There is nothing but under hood "bling" to be had with an after market CAI...

I would say a good buy would be a AEM Dry Flow Intake. Good gains and no oil sucked into your motor from the filter.

HUH???????????No oil sucked in from the filter, wheres the oil coming from in the first place that its getting sucked in the filter from the engine bay. If you are referring to blow-by or oil drawn into the intake manifold VIA the PCV system that has nothing to doil with the air filter.

No he is refering to oiled filters like K&N. Sometimes when people reoil them they put to much on and it gets sucked into the engine.

I've heard amazing things about the Amsoil dry filters. They don't offer a drop in, but have enough sizes to fit any adapter that I've seen. I will be moving to Phoenix at the fist of the year and plan on buying one. (Not trying to hijack thread, just another filter option)
