Help once again with lowering car
Okay guys..I need yalls help one more time. You guys have been great in the past and I am hoping you will be of some assistance here as well. Okay, I ordered the H&R Super Sport springs, the Maximum Motorsports CC plates, Tokico HP shocks and struts, and BBK polyurethane offset steering rack bushings.
Okay first off how low are the Super Sport springs going to lower the car? I have read about 1.6 inches.
And also, are the offset steering rack bushings a good idea? I have read both good and bad on them. I bought these instead of a Bump-Steer kit, because of the cost difference and the fact that I am really only lowering my car for the look, not for corner carving or autocross or anything to that nature. I know the offset bushings won't work as well as a bump-steer kit, but will it suffice? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey man, to give u an accurate picture of how the H&R SS's will sit, checkout my thread in 4.6 General Discussion titled "Bassani catback on a 2v". That is my car with H&R's....you'll love how your car will look!

I love the look of that drop, but since this is my daily driver I don't think I would be able to manage being that low. Especially with a Mach 1 chin spoiler. But nonetheless, very nice looking car!

I was thinking about those exact springs would they work with the stock setup? Or would it be best to just save up for a complete swap? I don't mind waiting I just wanted to know if I should put that coinage towards another mod for now.

The proper way to fix the bumpe steer issue is with the bump steer tie rod ends. Offset rack bushings are more or less a myth as most people will say they do almost nothing to correct the issue of a lowered car's steering.
