What's up with seat breakdown in these cars?

I had the same problem with the driver side bottom seat foam padding breaking down where my left leg rests against. The foam pad was crumbling and ended up splitting. I went to the dealership and ordered a new seat foam pad. Not that expensive, somewhere in the 150.00 range if I remember correctly. You will need to take the seat cover off the old seat foam. Hog rings and hog ring pliers will be needed to put the seat cover on the new seat foam.
