Default Question for the gurus

4.6 block punched to 10 to 1
Heads done ( or purchased ) to 2.02/1.60, Solid lifters, Rolloer rockers
228/218 cam
And a few odds and ends I am not thinking of at the moment

1) What kind of power in your honest opinion would be at the wheels?
2) Would I be able to run regular gas with this?

I know this is near impossible to pinpoint but maybe the techs would have a close guess.

I would like to have about 350 hp / +400 tq at the wheels. I don't race or go to the track I just like a thrill every now and again. No bolt on power add'ers all natural. The real + here is would I be able to accomplish this for around 4k engine supplied?

Thanks for looking

with the search button! lol

op, your best bet is to go with forced induction to reach your goal. for two reasons:
1) you could spend less money for a s/c setup than having a motor built

2)with a s/c, you can reach and exceed your goal hp wise

Seriously, do a bit of research before asking dumbass questions.

Actually, I'd say go for it. Buy all those parts. Spend money on all of it. Then go to a shop and ask them all to install it for you, and come back here and tell us what happened. I'm DYING to know...

Why spend 4k to do this when you can do a blower for the same price and make much better overall power?

Not to bash you or anything, but a little bit of research on your part will go a long way here.

OP you won't make even close to that power level with 10 to 1 compression, cams, and heads. You will be around 300 rwhp depending on the tune. Stock compression is 9.4 to 1 so it is not worth going to a 10:1. I believe for every 1/2 compression increase is 2% gain in hp.

yea...i could see building it to s/c it but if u just wanna do that your not gonna gain much from that. i would mayb just throw some rings valves and new gaskets and put the rest towards a s/c itll get u more power and about the same cost
