Default Porting heads?

I know prices will be a bit diffrent, but I was wanting to know what the perks of porting heads would be and for those who have done it what they paid?

Perks are that you'll gain more power lol. Check out Modular Head Shop. The owner specializes in this area, and has some good prices to boot.

Do you already have the heads? I sent my PI heads out to MMR and got a stage 3 p/p w/ valve job for a great deal and I'm expecting to be mid 500-600rwhp with these heads

If you still have your heads, then MMR or Fox Lake have really the best deals.

MMR charges $600 for a stage 1 port/valve job/new seals, $750 for a stage 2 port/valve job/new seals.....and like $900 for stage 3.

Fox Lake charges $600 for their stage 1 and $900 for their stage 2. I would personally go with Fox Lake. Top notch work is all I have ever heard come out of that shop.

MHS has decently priced heads if you are looking to buy outright, but cost significanty more than you would pay for having the same work done to yours.
