does anybody know if the interior (dash, center console, bezel, carpet, plastics) from a 99-04 stang will fit directly into a 96 stang?

 

Should all be a direct swap. Certain things might not be interchangeable, like putting a 99-00 center stack bezel into a 94-98 dash or maybe putting together a center console with a mixture of parts from different years, but as long as you're swapping out an entire piece or section you should be fine.

 

yup, you are right, its almost an easy swap. i did the seats, console, carpet, and bezel today. the child safety latches didnt line up very well, but nothing a drill couldnt fix. thanks!

 

ya the interiors are interchangeable 94-04

 

i will note that the bottom mounting brackets for the rear seats are not lined up with the original mounting brackets. I had to drill holes about 1 1/2 inches wider on each side to be able to mount the back seat and child seat restraint latch bracket.
