Default Struts or wheel alignment

This summer I had an eibach pro kit installed which lowered my car about 1.5 inches all around. I didn't install cc plates b/c I was told it wasnt a drastic drop to where i'd need them. I noticed though that my two front tires have uneven wear on the insides so the tire sits leaning inward on the top and outward on the bottom. Is this my wheels unaligned or could it but my struts bottoming out? Any info on the problem would be appreciated

your needing a set of c/c plates to straighting this out

the reason for you needing c/c plates is the camber of the tire is too much. struts will not fix this. the top of the struts need to be moved out, requiring c/c plates

I have the pro kit with stock shocks/struts, no c&c plates, and have no issues. Took it to get aligned, and it was within spec, so all was good. I've had those springs for over 3 years as well.

How many miles do you have? Your shocks & struts could simply be worn out.

I have the FRPP C springs which dropped my front a 1 1\2 .
My alignment was with in specs also.
Only problem I have had is my GT needs Bump steer kit bad after lowering.
Id say either your car settled and dropped lower than 1 1\2 but if your tires are wearing on inside you for sure need CC Plates or you'll be spending alot of money on tires.

I planed on getting them as well to be able to mod the camber

Did you have it aligned after installing the lowering springs? If not then the camber setting is likely -2.0° or better, that would wear the tires as you describe...

the struts are about 2 years old so about 20,000 miles one them. and yes wheels were aligned the day the springs were. what are the specs for wheels? could i use camber bolts or does it need to be the plates?

The factory specs are:

At the high end of the camber range (-1.25°) you will start to see the wear pattern you describe, however handling will be much improved with little to no plowing in tight turns.

That's where I have mine set and is probably costs me 5-7k miles on a set of tires...

these are my measurements for the alignment
LF: Camber -1.0 Caster 2.7 Toe .14
Rf: Camber -1.2 Caster 3.5 Toe .14
Total toe .27
Steer ahead 0

Should I install camber plates? If I need to adjust the camber setting would camber bolts be ok?
