Default new throttle body made more slack

Just wondering if this happened to any of you guys. I installed the bbk 78mm TB combo tonight. All went very smoothly but I noticed I have more slack in my gas pedal than before. I know I ran the cable correctly. Just wondering if any one had the same issue. Ill probably do the gas pedal mod to fix this.

Had this problem on my 04 GT years back, never did resolve it. I ended up putting the stock TB back on. Seemed like I shoulda been able to adjust the cable somehow but I wasn't able to figure it out at the time either...

Yea I did put the spring back. Idk its not a huge deal ill just fix it tomorrow. I was just wondering if this is common with this TB. But it didn't seem to be when I searched this problem.

Mine had some slack in it too, but after a day of driving the sponginess in the pedal went away without me actually adjusting anything, dunno why though

Kugzgt. I would but this week is crazy for me. I going to do the pedal mod and be done with it. Another question how many of you could feel a difference with this mod in your butt dunk. I think I feel a little bit in my higher elms. How bout u guys? And yes I know this TB is way larger than I needed for my mods but with the AM discount we get the price couldn't be beat.

I had this same problem. My gas pedal almost seems stuck. Anyone know how this is fixed?

Was gettin ready to recommend the "pedal mod", but seems you already know about it. I'd try that, carefully
