Default Time for a upgrade

I have a 2000 Roush, with just about every bolt on, and i figure its time to start doing some internal work. I got it on the dyno and im putting out 280 hp and like 310 tq. Just wanna get some ideas on what i should do next. Thanks

Welcome to MF! I see that you're in MI. Where abouts?

I guess it all depends on how much you want to spend. When you say internal work are you looking to do heads and cams or are you considering a power adder as well?

BTW, you got 280 hp & 310 tq to the wheels with just bolt ons? If so that dyno is WAY off lol. Was it dynoed somewhere here in MI? If so where at?

Alternative Auto is where i had my ride dynoed as well. I'm really surprised you got those numbers on their dyno. Lidio will even tell you that full bolt on 99-04 gt's pull about 260-265 rwhp on his dyno, and since your car has the same motor it should be no different. When mine was just full bolt ons it pulled 269 rwhp on his dyno, and he told me that one was of the highest he's seen. He even told me that cammed 2 valves only get between 280-290 rwhp on his dyno, and mine did 284 rwhp. It makes me wonder if something else is done to your ride.

How much power do you want, and how much are you willing to spend? 400-425 rwhp is about the limit these cars can take before you have to upgrade the internals, and then you're talking big $$$.

The most efficient way to that is with a blower, turbo, or nitrous. The cheapest being nitrous which is what i have.

Well i got my nitrous kit for $500. You could go that route and spank a lot of blown gt's for WAY cheaper. Cams are fun as well. Not a big bang for the buck, but they give the car a nice rumble, and some much needed top end power. I love mine.

The guys i hang with live right by Lidio's shop too. Maybe you've seen them around?

White 1995 Cobra with SVO side pipes
Burnt orange 2006 GTO (loud with a big cam)
Black 2001 Cobra convertible with a Kenne Bell
White 2001 Saleen with a Procharger
Orange 2004 Mach 1 slammed with all black Mach wheels

I was just curious if you had seen those cars rolling around your area before. They're just some buddy's of mine, and Lidio has done all the tuning on them. IIRC he'll also be having a dyno day on April 23, so keep that in mind as well.

If you do cams let me know. I did countless hours of research before i did mine, and found out some interesting things about our particular motors.
