Default New Engine Being Installed Sunday

Well it's finally gonna happen. Sunday some guys from work and I are going to install my new engine on Sunday. It's bout time too, tired of driving this smoky piece of shat around. I've got pretty all new everything going in as well: BBK shorties, Aluminum Flywheel, Spec 1 Clutch, new NGK TR55 plugs (thanks Jdan ), 180 t-stat, and SLP LM2's. Anyways I was writing to see if you guys had any recommendations on how to break in a new engine, clutch and flywheel. Any info is and will be greatly appreciated. Have a nice day!

The only thing different is, it is an aluminum block. Bout 90-100lbs lighter I believe.

The block should be fine with boost, the internals would give way first. But, I don't have any immediate plans on boosting it. When it comes time we shall see.

lol, the dealerships all say you dont need to follow the breakin period. Then again, half of them dont know what they are talking about. My neighbor blew his viper engine the week he got his viper. He got a new one put in, under warrenty

If i were you, I would play it safe, after 600 miles, gradually increase your rpm's when driving.
