I somehow love the look of the Saleen Spoiler that fits the 99-04 mustangs, I hate the stock spoiler, doesnt really flow with the lines of the car and as far as function...nadda.

Will the S281 Saleen spoiler cover stock wing mount holes?

Depending on which S281 spoiler you get, you may need to drill new holes depending on where your spoiler is now. Some S281 spoiler mounts on the edge of the trunk and some bolt directly over the stock 2001 spoiler mounts. Found one on ebay for $109.99 if you're willing to drill new holes. And I do agree with you, the S281 spoiler makes the car look better than the stock spoiler.

that Ebay link is funny, the cars with the painted spoilers are different spoilers then what they sell. The painted ones are like the true saleen spoilers, and the green one isn't. I bought a 99-04 S281, and it fits in the stock holes.

Yeppp, they fit over the stock holes. Just make sure you order the right one. There is the s281 for the 99-01.5 and then there is the s281 for the 01.5-04
