Clutch pedal hard to push in
Over the past week or two my clutch pedal has become very hard to push in. I have a new(er) clutch cable adjuster and my clutch is about 1.5 years old.
I assume my clutch is toast but figured I'd see if anyone had experienced this in the past.

A clutch should not get more difficult to throw out with any sort of normal wear. One thing to do would be to disconnect the cable from the throwout lever and make sure the cable isn't binding.
Many after market clutch cables are very poorly made as compared to the OEM cable, and often seize up and eventually fail.

Also, examine where it contacts the quadrant, the cable can get get frayed from catching on the aluminum quadrant and they start binding--did you grease that cable and quadrant groove when you installed the new parts?

It did appear greased up when I installed it, although now I believe it might be the cable, I'll pull it off and inspect it this weekend. Is this something I can add some grease to and cross my fingers or should I just shell out 100 bucks and get a new one?
