well it doesn't seem to misfire anymore, but now it does this when it starts up:

I want to say yes to it being the IAC, but it's strange that it runs fine once it warms up. Based on other's experiences I've come across a bad IAC doesn't change due to engine temp; if it's bad it's bad.
its located on the coolant crossover. when you start your car it tells the computer the temperature of the motor and either leans out the fuel mixture or richens it.
my car would do that every morning and i changed that out and cleaned out my IAC as well and it went away for a while but it started doing it again.

I changed my IAC I didnt clean it.
I did come research on the ect and I found someone else who had exactally the same problem I described and it turned out that the ect was telling the computer that the engine was cold when it wasnt, so the computer was making it run rich...which explains why I smell unburnt gas.
I'll be replacing the ect and I'll update on it.
