Default Rear end help!!

My 2000 GT was in an accident that bent the whole rear end beyond repair in many many places. I found a selling selling a 2002 rear end from his GT and we just dropped my old one out and put his in. I want to make sure this rear end is identical to the stock 00' year. The only identification I see is a green tag on the rear end that says 229H. Does anyone know if this rear end will work the same? Is it the same as the 00' rear end? My car seems A LOT slower with this rear end than it used to be.

It should be identical unless you or him had gears. If it was stock it should have 3,27s maybe your rear had upgraded gears

If you got in an accident that was hard enough to bend an axle housing in multible spots I would also check to make sure the car doesn't have any torque box damage.
