While fixing the needles on the instrument panel on my Mustang, I had it idling and I left the digital display sitting on water temperature, and the temp slowly went up, to around 101 degrees C before I drove for a little to cool it down. I stopped at home and let it get up there again, and checked the engine compartment to see if the electric radiator fan was working as it should, and it was not.

Does anyone have a clue what temperature range the radiator fan is supposed to turn on at? Or has mine already failed... Was there a TSB on this? (2004 Mustang GT)

 

i dont think it turns on untill 195* i dont know forsure, turn on you A/C that will turn on the fan nomatter what the temp is. and if it turns on then it is not the fan.
