97 GT 108k 4.6, 20k on built tranny, for parts
Time to move on, my 97GT Convert hit on the drivers headlight, set off the air bags and yes with just enough twist in the body. This was my baby, excellent running 4.6, I had the transmission rebuilt 20k ago, with aftermarket shift kit and new torque converter. It has stock 17" chrome Ford mustang rims, I've never seen another set like them, the front tires have 200 miles on them, and the front end was rebuilt with the new tires.
I bought the car with 36k on it, well maintained, driven but never trashed.
It will start and drive, just not down the road, the hood and drivers fender have been pulled and thrown out.
I have no desire to part it out, any reasonable offers over $2,500 will be considered. Sold where is, as is.
Tight motor and transmission, the top is worn, the leather not bad shape, mach 460 sound, speakers are tired.
Breaks my heart to see her sitting in the driveway.

good luck with that man, where i live anyway they don't go for much more than $2500 not wrecked, without a twisted frame. A 4.6 SOHC motor is not worth much at all, you can go to the junkyard and pull one for cheap. Basically you're asking for $2500 for a stock 4.6/tranny, and some stock wheels, which just isn't realistic, The car is not worth fixing if the frame is twisted.
