Default Rear axle question.

So I'm planning on rebuilding my rear axle with 3.73s and all new bearings. My question is at what power are guys having axle problems, like twisting and breaking?

Are you gonna keep the factory diff with the 28 spline axles? Because with sticky tires and your powerlevel you can snap a stock axle at your power level now. If you gonna do a rear build I'd step up to a 31 spline diff and axles.

+1 to uber, if it was a stocker i'd say don't worry much about it, but since you're already near the 400 threshhold i said you go to a 31 spline rear, they have complete kits but its cheaper to piece it together yourself part by part.

I've been looking at new axles because I'm already worried one or both may be twisted a little. Are the aftermarket moser or superior axles stong enough as 28 spline? Also are the 28 spline differentials known to break or is it mainly the axles?
