why does my car run sluggish during first start up
Whenever I start my car up for the first time. I pull out in the road and it's just sputtering and sluggish as hell.. If i give it the gas it will eventually pick up and get past the sputtering.. after driving about a qtr mile the sluggishness and sputtering goes completely away, wether i drive it slow or hit it. Sometimes in first gear when pulling out the drive way I gotta rev it up some almost feels so sluggish it wants to cut off. Im just curious what causes this.. the best way to describe the feeling. is if any of you have ever owned a 2 stroke dirtbike. u know u gotta always clean it out and run it hard when u first start it.. It feels like that. Im not really concerned something is wrong with my car. Im just curious wut actually causes this. Thanks

I let it warm up sometimes. but not all the time.. id say 2 outta 10 times that i do let it warm up tho, it will be idling and stall, and cut off.

I just changed the oil, put new plugs, new airfilter, new fuel pump, and fuel filter, and supercharger belt on.. all at one time.. I use castrol syntec 5w30 and NGK TR6 plugs. I wana say they came already gapped at like .35... so i left em there.. but the car runs good.. just acts up when it's cold.. I think the reason it's doin it, and i forgot to mention.. is because i just put an O/R x pipe on it..no cats now... it didn't start doing it until then.. so it's probably just from the no cats.. I know my car is fine though.. I have a wide band air/fuel and fuel pressure gauges.. i keep them monitored.. and also i ran a 12.3 today using my G-tech, on the street. so it runs good.. just hates cold starts i guess.

yeah my car acts kinda funny during cold start ups, i just let it idle for a bit longer before i drive it..I wouldnt be too concerned, just let it run for a bit longer before you drive it, and you could try a higher octane gas too

Could be that your car is in open loop still.(cold)
Sounds like it runs better once in close loop.(warm or normal op temps)
I dont think its anything you have to worry about if it runs good after warmed up.
