Karma. the dealer sold me a totaled car, he was forced to swap it for equal value and I found out today he didn't sell me a car with the motor having 177,xxx on it my mechanic said prob no more than 10,xxx on it bc there is no road corrosion yet. he had something he didn't know he had. that's all. just tryin to show an example of karma.

Or it's a clean motor with 117,000 on it.

I don't get the karma part. Did the guy do something to you in the past? Could you explain?

1. Guy bought a totaled car...
2. Took it back to dealer when he found out it had been totaled.
3. got new car with supposedly 117k on it
4. mechanic tells him motor has 10k on it....

Though there is no way to tell how many miles a motor has on it by how it looks... as long as it is well maintained.... Idk why you would hold off on a supercharger... might as well throw it on a low milage car.... if it really is, though odds are its just 117k (which really isn't that many for a 10 year old car), that has been well maintained, either way you are in good shape.

My 01 has 184K on it, engine is cleaner than the one in my 03 with 58K on it.

No corrosion or discoloration on either, no leaks, no buildup...

Simple green and a Garden hose, and some engine detailer can make em look brand new.

I'll have to take some pics later, the freeze plugs have no corrosion, valleies are clean as a whistle, can still see the lines that were drawn on some of the bolts by whomever put it togeter, all the visable gasket look awesome, the motor is far too clean to just have had someone clean it.
