Default 2001 High Pressure Side A/C Plug Part # Question

long story short.

last winter I purchased a 2001 Stang which the prior owner turned into a cobra...engine, suspension, interior, bumpers, etc....

I love the car.

When I test drove it, I turned on the A/C and it just blew hot air. Owner said probably leaked refrigerant because car sat for three years while he was deployed. I believed him because he was also a Marine. (I suppose Semper Fidelis does not apply when money is at stake). So much for his honestly thought he may have been right I just don't know yet).

In any event, it's gotten hot so I decided to check out the a/c this weekend and the compressor is not coming on through the blower runs.

I have not checked any fuses, though I will tonight.

In looking at the compressor and wiring I noticed that a plug in the harness that runs to the electric fans has an additional plug right next to a plug on the a/c high side pipe. (shown here).

The plugs do not match - altho both have four pins.

a few questions for those of you who know much more than I do.

1) would this not being pluggin cause the A/C not to engage?
2) what is the part number for the plug in the harness that would match the fitting it plugs into?
3) assuming I get the correct plug does anyone know the wiring for each pin?

thanks in advance.

any help would be much appreciated.
