Default Npi 4.6 cams on a PI 5.4

the PI 5.4 has 260hp and 350tq so does that mean that the mustang uses diff cams in the 4.6 then the 5.4? should i keep the 5.4 cams or swap them for my 4.6 NPI cams? i think i would like having the 350Tq for now and then later geting some copm cams does any one know for some good cams that will give me good power between 2800-6400 Rpm's and whould i have to do some valve train work to rev to 6400?

LOL. Yeah I would recommend it, unless you want it to break. That's what the rev limiter's for.

Not sure, but if you're using your 4.6 computer, then the redline will be 6k. I was just saying that the rev limiter is for stopping your engine from flying apart, should it be attacked by a forgetful lead foot.

Your RPMs all depends on your valve train. You can replace the stock valve train with stage III cams, better springs and a good P&P and you can rev it to 9000 and not hurt a thing. But you have to reflash the computher to do so and have one hell of a rear end gear to get you off the line. LOL

There's no way a stock roatating assembly could handle 9,000rpms.

Im sure it wouldnt. My poiunt being that it is all in the valve train and not just in the ECU and so on. I think that Code said that he can rev his to 7500 with the Stage II cams if im not mistaken.
