Default Death of the 2v 4.6

Just wondering what people think will happen to the aftermarket now that they aren't putting them in Mustangs anymore.

Good point. On the other hand, they're still making 5.0 stuff, and that hasn't been put in Mustangs for a decade.

yeah good question. considering there never really was a good aftermarket for the 2V 281 i really dont think itll take off like we were hoping it eventually would.

There were twice as many companies making 3 times the parts for the first yr of the 3v than there ever were for the 2v. Im selling the 98 and getting a 94 or 95. Part for part you can't compete aftermarket wise.

The 5.0 has such a loyal fan base that it will always have a market. Not to mention the interchangibility with other windsor blocks.
