Hey guys I just bought an 04 GT with a Predator already installed. Dealer told me the CEL was on because of the tune that was on the car. I pulled the codes and there is about 4 or 5 of them all relating to the o2 sensor. It also says that this is normal for the tune I have on there, which is the 93 Octane, and yes, I am putting 93 in there...
I've tried searching and people say they don't have the CEL come on, so my question is that, is this true that the light should be on or what?

 

unless diablo does something screwy those tunes are supposed to be used to eliminate the CEL for such things as the rear O2 sensors that get tripped when removing your cats

you also might have bad front sensors

i personally would get a whole new tune on the car program it back to stock and take it to a dyno tuner or a mail order tune if you really dont care

but look over the codes on the stock tune and fix whats wrong minus the back O2's

 

Okay I pulled the other codes and they are
P0141 Downstream Heated Oxygen Sensor Heater circuit fault - Bank No. 1
P0161 Downstream Heated Oxygen Sensor Heater circuit fault - Bank No. 2.
P2270 O2 Sensor Signal Stuck Lean Bank1 Sensor 2
P2272 O2 Sensor Signal Stuck Lean Bank2 Sensor 2

What do I need to do!?

Oh and I just looked under the car and the O2 sensors are there, just no wires coming out of them and one of them looks like its broken off. Btw is has Bassani X-pipe with high flow cats.

 

that might be a prob lol well get that fixed delete the codes and check back later

Out of curiosity, was this the dealer that sold you the car?

If so it was a violation of Federal and state (any of the 50) law for them to sell you a car with a defective emissions control system, take the car back to them and make them aware of this...
