well, you will read tons of mixed reviews about spraying pre blower or pre t/b or both. I do both, but more than likely mike plummer will just have you spray pre throttle body. Even at my levels, I just run a 50/50 mix so you should be fine with windshield washer fluid...like you said its easily available, cheap and convenient. Of course straight meth will give you the best gains, but I agree and dont think its worth it on a car that you just use for weekends and cruising around.

I think you are pretty much in the right direction, cant hurt to call SP and just confirm everything with them though. The meth should put your temps in the 130-140 range and you should pick up some nice power and prevent detonation all while doing so.

Good luck with it and keep us updated!

michael plummer himself recommends w/w fluid as well fyi, you can mix it yourself but -20 works just fine, I went with boost juice my first few fills though

have you had this setup running yet? Only reason I ask is because PI cams killed my blower setup back when I was on a stock motor

Actually I still have the stock npi cams istalled, I have a set of PI cams sitting there and was going to upgrade. The car has not run after the sc install. The job was totally botched and I am going to redo it aftre my head unit gets a rebuild at Vortech.

What exactly happened with the cams that killed you? I have a set of Houston performance blower cams, but I dont want to have them done by someone else, however I am not a wiz at degreeing so I figured Id just pop in some PI cams with the Anderson tool and get a couple more ponies. Please give me any recommendations you have, the info is valued for sure.

well on my old setup I had stock non pi heads, stock non pi cams, stock PI manifold, and vortech s trim with bolt ons and intercooler and it put down just about 400/400 through the auto.

I swapped my non pi cams for stock PI cams and lost hp. After doing extensive research and speaking with tons of tuners, it was a no brainer and many tuners even said..."well, yeah". PI cams have more lift than non pi cams, and less duration. You want the complete opposite with a blower grind cam. Blower cars need duration. Basically, with the added lift and drop in duration, boost was going right out of my exhaust. The car felt like a dog too. I just like to share my experiences with people so the same thing doesnt happen to you too. If you already have blower cams, I HIGHLY suggest spending the extra cash to either have someone degree them for you or figure something out and keep them. I had a buddy over who helped me degree my blower cams and it really wasnt all that hard

thanks for that, your old set up is exactly what I was going to do and exactly the hp range I was shooting for, actually a little less. I hear what you are saying about the blower cams, however, if I just leave everything as is I will get just what I wanted, the extra expense to me is not worth it. I will keep the cams in case I want to go the next level in the future.

My set up will be like your old one, stock npi heads and cams. TB/plenum, xpipe and cat back, s-trim around 10 lbs, meth cooling. I was calculating it coming in around 360hp. Does that sound about right?

almost to the tee, minus meth add intercooler. I was running more boost though to get to the power I was at...I ran a power pipe and 3.12 pulley, if I remember correctly I was seeing about 13psi. So, minus 3 psi and you are exactly in the range of 360-370, so I think you're right on target
