Default Buying a new stang next spring

What should i be expecting to get im looking to spend 7-10 max for a 02-04 v8

requirements are
black interior (grey only alternative, i hate my two tone tan i have right now)
manual

I'd like lower miles, but i'm looking for the best deal that will still be a good car i.e. no problems/issues

i would check the KBB value on everything you look at, i paid $5300 for my 2001 with 110 k on it. black leather with a 5 speed. no issues to speak of with flowmaster 40s, some nice rims, eibach pro kit, K&N, and a KAR security system

I paid 9k for my 2004 gt with all the options, only 60k on the car. the car came with leather seats welded sub frame connectors, Steeda under drive pulleys, a steeda tri ax shifter , 3:73 gears, and a kenwood sound system with a sub.

Honestly, if you are able *or willing to wait to extend* your maximum price range, you could very likely find a 40-70K mile 99,01 Cobra.

I believe they are in the low teens now (10-13K) and we all know they'd be a lot of fun, and provide more potential/collectability than a normal 2V GT.

Just my two cents.

If you insist on staying in that price range, you should be able to find plenty of GT's with under 50K.

not really, we have owned quite a few 4.6 and 5.4 motor vehicles and we have never had one quit on us and we have put well over 200k on a couple of them. plus i just wanted something i could tinker with a little. it was my first car

You could get a really nice condition GT for that... but as 72 said you could get an 01 cobra for a little more, or even a mach 1....

I know you said 02-04 but you could always get a 96-98 cobra.
