Default clutch pedal vibration

I just finished a clutch install on a 1999 Saleen Mustang. This is my first clutch job on this type of car. I was told the pedal felt a little soft after it was driven and now the clutch pedal is vibrating. All new clutch kit including pilot bearing was installed along with resurfacing the flywheel. I put grease on the input shaft before the transmission was put back in the car. I also put a little grease on the clips for the TOB on the clutch fork plus the ball that the clutch fork rides on. I also was told that the person driving the car adjusted the clutch pedal at the floor. Was there anything I missed while installing the clutch ? Thanks for any help

It sounds like there might be too much slack in the clutch cable, try pulling up on the clutch pedal with your toe to adjust the pedal. I have a firewall adjuster on my 01 GT and I notice that when I add slack to my cable the clutch pedal will vibrate.

If "adjusted the clutch pedal at the floor" means they moved the disengagement/engagement point down close to the floor then the cable is improperly adjusted.

There should be 1-1/8" to 1-3/8" free-play in the pedal before you feel the TOB start to press against the spring fingers.

Last time i had my clutch replaced i had to let the clutch kind of wear into itself. I had the same chattering problem myself. Does it only chatter when you are in neutral?? Wait about a week or 2 and let everything shift together and wear in and see whats going on after that. right now everything is right out of the factory and not everything is perfect.
