Default fuel filter

I don't know if i should go ahead and replace my fuel filter. Ive not done it since Ive had the car. it has 150K+ miles and has no ruff idle or engine problems at all.

i know its a 10 minute job but do i really need to do this just because of the cars age? whats the life span on the OEM?

30K miles/24 months
relatively inexpensive insurance to change it

You said it only takes 10 minutes, so why not. $4 or less and 10 minutes for potentially better fuel mileage. You probably spend more time on your oil change and you don't really need to even lift the car up.

You should change it, it's a cheap part and easy to change.

I changed mine today. Haven't driven it yet, but it wasn't too hard to do. I'm thinking of doing plugs tomorrow.
