Question need a little help with replacing rear main seal

i am goimg to replace the clutch on my 98 gt but the rear main seal seems to be leakin a little bit iam just wondering how involved it is to replace it. just want to know what iam getting in to.

you simply remove the flywheel and u can ubolt the "rear main seal plate", a couple 10mm bolts hold it in if I remember correctly, then pry the old seal out of the plate, MMR sells a whole new plate that comes with double seals it might be worth looking into since you are gonna have it apart.

Just make sure when you're sliding the new seal on that everything sits on the crank flush. The first time I did the real main, the inside lip of the seal got folded over and I didn't notice it. Man did that thing leak like crazy.

Felpro's seals come with a plastic guide sleeve that makes installation a snap...
