Default spark plug replacement

my brother has a 98 GT and needs to replace spark plugs. Is there a special procedure as in the 2005-09 3V engines. I took a quick glance at it and it looks like a 2v with plug wires going to each spark plug.

I just changed my plugs yesterday. Make sure to do it on a cold engine. Torque the new ones in at about 14ft/lb. I used an inch/lb torque wrench and used a unit converter to be more accurate. Gap should be around .054. Of course, make sure to finger tighten before you start tightening down with the torque wrench to avoid cross threading.

So they are standard spark plugs? not like the HT1's in my 2005?

Holy crap...

I had not paid any attention to the 2005+ GTs (as I will likely never own one)--$10 to $15 a pop for plain ol' platinum spark plugs! They are just "very" extended reach plugs...
