Default Question about Nitrous system

So im curious.. When the nitrous system is engaged, how does the management system know when to dispense the Nitrous into the fuel/intake?

Overview: When the nitrous solenoid is opened (its an electric solenoid) the nitrous flows through to the jet and into the intake or where ever it is plumbed.
How to: So you have to send power through the solenoid when you want it to open and spray the shot. Note that a wet system also adds a fuel solenoid. There are 3 basic options available.
a) Manually with a button you have to press and hold.
b) Mechanically by having the accelerator pedal or the throttle shaft to trip a micro switch when you step on the gas.
Or c) Electronically controlled by tapping into your TPS sensor and picking up the wide open throttle signal from there.

If your talking about the Zex NMU its just option 'C' above, they aren't doing anything special.

If you decide to go with a system, i'd highly recommend either NX or NOS. I'm not saying the others are bad, but i hear nothing but great stuff coming from these guys. I run NOS personally. I've had it for over 3 years, and haven't had one single issue.
