Default performance engine dealers??

looking for a good place to buy a motor. im wanting a stroker motor and want it bored. i want the new trickflow 195 heads and i want them to port match the intake to the heads and maybe fully port the intake. i am looking for 450 hp from a 8.5.1 compression motor. either supercharger cams or turbo cams dont know if im going turbo or supercharged. i looking to make 700 or better wheel hp when it is all said and done. my plan is to run 20 lbs of boost or better and on pump gas. i want to use e 85 fuel. it is everywhere around here.. im looking to run 6.40s or better in the 1/8 mile. i know of dss, but who else is out there to buy a motor from?/ for the motor i have a $9000.00 budget.

It's said that Modular Mustang Racing (MMR) has some really great longblocks and shortblocks and so forth. They could probably get you the right setup if you gave them a call.

Modular Performance. John Tymensky is the owner, and is arguably the best mod motor builder around.

You can do 700RWHP from a stock bore stock stroke ported PI head motor with 20lbs of turbo boost easily.

Anything more than about 15lbs of boost with a turbo really needs race gas/E85 for max power as you have to retard the spark timing too much. Been there done that many times.

As for short/longblocks there is Tymensky at Modular Performance and then there is everybody else IMHO.
