Default Lowering

I need sum advice, i have a 99 gt convertible. and i want to lower it...but there are certain springs that i cant use...what are the springs i can i mean i tried the tein s which is the drop i want because people before told me not to drop to 2 inches. i dont want the tein H because its not what im looking for. Any other brands that are good other than eibach? I would like to stick with Tein though honestly. If i were to lower to the Tein S...would i have to take my cat out?

That was a pretty confusing post to read but here is a link to all of the springs american muscle sells, they have a good selection and the best for a great low stance is going to be H&R supersports.

Not sure what your "cat" is, if you are referring to catback exhaust then no that would make no sense.

No, you would not have to remove them to lower the car.
2" is a big drop but it's still possible to do, you will also need caster camber plates though to get the car properly alligned. the springs I mentioned above give the car an awesome stance. If you want to be very low they will do the job just fine.

Thats just an ESTIMATED drop not the real deal.. when they say that usually it doesnt drop over 1.5-1.75.. youll sit fine and have a nice stance with H&R lowering springs and if your not worried about the ride/sounds then you could remove the isos also..

Someone on this forum is selling these springs right now too. If you bought these you could save a bit of cash too.
