Default cold loop in the mustang computer??

A friend of mine told me the mustang had a cold loop in the computer. I never heard of this before. He said if the car aint warmed up and you smash the go fast pedel it will go into a cold loop and cut power so you wont break your car. Now i have noticed if i get on the mustang when it aint fully warmed up , it does not pull as hard. And when it is fully warmed up it pulls real hard. is their any truth to this?

Probably psychological truth... It's all in your head, just because you heard it, makes your brain want to find it.

It does not have such a "loop". However your getting "on the mustang when it aint fully warmed up" is not the most sensible thing to do, so perhaps they should have such a control...
