Default Mustnag owner of 1 day and already droke down :( please help!!!

So me and my buddy thought it would be cool to get some mustangs so I picked up one and then talked him into sellig his 2006 great truck and fo him to go get one, so he did. the think is just cherry looks like it rolled right out of the factory but only a couple hours of driving and the thing is blowing coolant everywhere. Now I feel like a dick cause im having a great time in my mustang while his sits in the garage. I feel im responsible to fix it cause i checked out the car for him and gave it the thumbs up. I guess my question is. How in the fu@K do I get the water pump bypass tube off!!!?

The tube that goes kinda behind the alternator? You dont. you replace the intake.

yeah thats pipe. I was guessing that the pipe could have eithr rusted out or have a bad O-ring on either end.

2000 would have a plastic intake with a plastic crossover pipe..its one of those things they mold and bond when produced...unfortunately they had a tendency to fail in epic fashion, some lasted a long time, some blew early on. Mine has 184,000 on it and dry as a bone.

New intake isnt a massive undertaking though. Id say its not as bad overall as doing timing chains, heads...

Don't be too worried. As posted, those intakes have a history of cracking. It's a straight forward swap that's not really a big undertaking to do.
