Default Suspension questions!

I finally took my car in to have the alignment done after having the car lowered (HR SS springs, Tokico HP Shocks/Struts, MM CC plates.)

They cannot get my left tire's camber within spec. Currently it sits at -2.1 (Right tire is at -1.9)

Will I need a bumpsteer kit, off-set bushings, or a balljoint kit to help fix this? Or were my CC plates installed wrong?

Just looking for some help here! Thanks for whatever info y'all can provide.

If you have MM CC plates, they should be able to adjust the camber into spec.

^^^^I agree. But if you can't get it right, get a set of Adjustable Camber Bolts from Sumitt or American Muscle I think has them. Easy install so you can get some positive camber back. Worked GREAT for my '03 GT.

I do, but they couldn't get it into spec. I will look into the adjustable camber bolts.

Edit: I am guessing the place that did the install of my CC plates then screwed up somehow?

Rather, I don't think the shop you took it to know how to ailgn lowered cars that they can't easily look up the specs in their computer system.

My buddy who has a slammed Miata takes it there routinely so they can do his alignment. Here is the specs I was given:

Front Left:
Camber: before -2.2, actual -2.1 (Spec -1.3 0.3)
Caster: before 5.1, actual 4.7 (spec 2.5 4.0)
Toe: before 041, actual .12 (spec .00 .25)

Front Right:
Camber: before -1.4, actual -1.9 (Spec -1.3 .3)
Caster: before 6.1, actual 5.0 (Spec 2.5 4.0)
Toe: before .39, actual .13 (Spec .00 .25)

Does this look right to you suspension guys? I am a little confused as to why they are saying I am at maximum adjustability on the left side if I am supposed to have 1.7 degree of adjustability, unless they were installed wrong.

The difference between 2.1 and 1.9 is not very much. Hell, the car might be out of square that much, as it is a Ford, after all... lol

Do a search for posts by our own resident Tech Savant in the last few months. He put up an image of CC plates and how they should look. I don't have them, so I don't know

Will do!

Dumb question, who IS the Tech Savant? Cause I seriously don't know.

Found the problem: The shop installed the plates in the negative orientation, not the positive orientation. Going to give them a call tomorrow and see when they can get this fixed.

I was going to say they may have flipped the plates or something
