Great! PM if you want. My wife will accept $215 sooner than she will $415 for the AF combo.

Hmm. Thanks for the input. Due to current circumstances (I'm married w/kids) I can't spend my paycheck on the car. Plus, my wife is a full-time college student (unemployed). $300 is still more than $215. I can use that $85 towards something else. Besides, I doubt the plenum will 'break' on me. I worry more about the TB.

Anyway, I still have some exhaust to replace before I get the TB/plenum.

Besides ebay, anyone know where to get a Steeda timing adjuster on the cheap?

Thanks for all the info, guys.
Dood – your kids can skip a meal once a day or wear the same cloths to school this year – it’s a fuggin Mustang! [:-]

Just kidding – I can relate 100%, as I’m married with 4 crumb catchers myself. Modding is a slow process that only comes after thriftiness and saving. Anyway, Jewjenk or 04BlueGT - please post your results or PM me. If there are not HUGE performances differences, $215 is a lot more acceptable than $300+…

Absolutely. When you do, take the time and remove the screen from the MAF. It does nothing but restrict airflow. If you're comfortable with the car, you should be able to to it in an hour. Even if you're not comfortable, 1.5 hours.

Good for you. Personally, MAC is the last company I'll ever use. I'm simply not impressed with the quality of their products. I'll pay more for quality every time and never regret it. That's why I started this thread; to find out about the quality of the products.

Jewjenk, what did you think of the quality of the parts? Was the fit and finish what you expected? Are the parts cast or CNC?

Thanks
