Default Pivot ball question

Im trying to either find the length of the pivot ball for a stock t-45 or a factory replacement ball. The only ones I can locate so far are the adjustable ones in three different lengths. If anyone has the length, or where I can find it I would appreciate it.

question though, if the stock one is 3 3/4", why is the longest adjustable one only 2.6" long? http://www.summitracing.com/parts/LAK-15504/

The bellhousing may have a longer mount in it then, I looked into them and they are SFI steel housings. Thanks for the help, probably just saved me money and anger lol.
