The "Functional hood scoop" Could cause this issue if something got wet, especially the COP boots. But my question to you is, have you checked the MAF? Look real good at the way the OP installed that CAI, there may be an airleak there causing the engine to receive unmetered air. That will play serious havoc with driveability.

no success yet. So far, I have changed the IAC and TPS. I also sprayed carb cleaner around all the hoses in the engine compartment, with no changes. I have a stock air intake on the way too. I dont know what else to try!

I installed a copper pipe cap in the IAC tube with a 1/4 inch hole drilled in it like I have seen Cliffy post about in other threads. I wonder if the hole should be bigger?

i had to go through 4 iacs before my problem was resolved. i was having the same problems man. you can block off your iac completely and set your tb screw to idle. i did that for a while, but it will run a little rich and your rpms will drop instantly during shifting.

Me and a buddy were checking out the car this morning when I got off. He asked me if it was the stock throttle body, because he heard it sucking air up by the tb when he goosed it. I have no clue if it is or not. How would I know?

Also, its not sticking all the time now. When I push in the clutch, sometimes it comes straight down to 1100. Others, it hangs at 1400 for a few second then comes down to 1100. I know that 1100 is normal though. just not 1400 or 1600.

The KOEO codes are PO430 and PO420. Tips on how and where to try the vaccum guage?

I just checked the vaccum lines with the engine running. The only vaccum line that affected the engine when unhooked was the line that goes in to the left side of the throttle body. Not the big one with the black box on it, the one to the left of that. I also unplugged the IAC, it didnt change a thing.

I figured it out, I think. The CAI is sucking oil from the driver side valve cover. The inside of the CAI pipe is coated with oil. Oil is actually running out of the grommet where that air sensor is. I took pics, but I cant post them.

Bad news right?

I got the rpm issue sorted out by installing the oem intake I got off ebay. A little jumpy while coasting, between 950-1100. I can deal with that. Off to sorting out other issues. First up, why is there oil in the tube coming from the valve cover breather.
