Default AC delete (without pulley)?

just wondering, saw a post on allfordmustangs.com forum about deleting the AC without buying a pulley adapter, just buying a belt. its probably time for me to swap out the belt anyways, but i have all stock pulleys.

here's the routing that was used:

which is fine with me, but in the post he was also using summit underdrive pulleys. says he's using a 70.5" gatorback. just wondering if anyone out there has done a swap like this with stock pulleys, and what length they used.

wow excellent question man, ive been looking to do something similar seeing how my ac unit is blown anyway, and seems to weight a good 1200lb. let me know if you find an answer but, i see no reason why you could not run the same setup with a stock pulley, just do some math to find out how much longer of a belt. My only concern would be with the belt not having enough tension maybe....? for whatever reason, i dunno

only reason im asking is i dont wanna spend the $50 for a useless pulley and wait for shipping, and i wanna rip the whole charge system out, so i can have room for my fuel system.

I assume that's 12 pounds?

My compressor went out, so I spent 10 bucks on a dummy pulley after yanking the compressor.
