Default 96 GT power gains?

looking for the guys that have modded and more importantly TUNED their 96-98 GT's.

I have a 96 gt with a cold air intake, 75mm TB and plenum, 2.5" O/R x-pipe, 2.5" cat-back exhaust, and MSD coil packs. how much power will I gain on a tune?

also, side note: planning to maybe put in a PI intake manifold and PI cams. how much power on this setup plus the above mentioned mods, and do I need the PI timing chain to run on my NPI motor, or will the NPI timing chain do?

thanks

auto or manual? Just for reference, I had every bolt on in the book (longtubes, midpipe, catback, udp's, cai, throttle body, plenum, 93 octane tune) and I put down 202rwhp through a stock 4R70w...

You should definitely see a huge difference with the pi swap. I just bought a 98 that has a complete 01 engine swap. The only aftermarket performance parts is a bbk o/r h and it is noticeably quicker than my stock 04. I am not sure if mine has been tuned or not but I would have to believe it is. Just for reference my 0-60 time is 4.81 seconds.

as 97stanger mentioned, you wont see much with bolt-ons due to the stock heads our cars came with. you can see my numbers below, i made that with the pi head swap with stage 2 cams and full bolt ons.

I would think you would put down 180-185hp stock(5-speed)
maybe 185-190hp with your current mods
PI intake and cams and a tune should get you around 225-230hp

thanks, good responses here. and thats about what I expected. i bought this car a year ago, its my first sports car. even though its my first, I'm really dissapointed. (and bored) I got all my bolt ons for great prices, I figure for all my bolt-ons I paid only around 4-5 hundred, so im not out much, but i wish someone had been there to tell me this motor is retarded garbage, and that bolt-ons are useless...

so are the PI intake manifold and PI cams really worth it? total cost for this would be 500. (tuner plus parts)

would buying a tuner (400) and tuning what mods I have be worth it at all?

also, my car is an automatic.

poor girl is in such good shape too, only 80000 miles. I just wish it wasnt so slow. theres alot of camaro owners around here that like to gloat about it.
